10 Best Rick And Morty Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

There is so much more to this show than just the titular duo.

Of course, the two best characters in Rick and Morty are without a doubt the titular duo. Rick's general outlook on life, his wildly dysfunctional relationship with his grandson, and the amazing sci fi technology at their disposal have made Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's creation one of the most popular animated shows ever.

However, there are far more characters than just Rick and Morty. Even outside of the supporting cast of Jerry, Beth and Summer, there are some wonderful characters across all dimensions and universes - and some of these don't even need to appear in any more than just one episode to make a lasting impact on the fans.

Thanks to Rick's ability to teleport anywhere through the multiverse instantly, the writers have been given licence to create bizarre worlds that Rick and Morty often only visit once. With this comes a load of characters that we meet just once, and are then left alone while Morty and his grandpa are off on their next adventure across the galaxy.

Over Rick and Morty's first four seasons, the writers have become experts in crafting wacky, zany and entertaining characters for us to form almost instant attachments to. Some of these single episode characters are even better than the ones we have seen many times throughout the series - and here are the very best of them!

10. Space Beth

Towards the end of Season 3, Rick offered to build Beth a complete clone to look after the family while she went out and lived the life she never got to live after getting pregnant at 17. However, it's not until the end of Season 4 that we see both Beths on screen together.

Technically, we never actually find out which Beth is the clone in Star Mort: Rickturn of the Jerri. However, if it was in fact Beth's clone that was sent away to fight against the Gromflomites across the galaxy, then her appearance in Season 4's finale is her only one to date.

She is essentially a cross between what we imagine Rick would have been like in his 30s and a badass Star Wars protagonist. She is everything you would want from a sci-fi character such as the daughter of the smartest man in the universe with access to the realms of technology few else could dream of.

Beth's clone chose a very different path from drinking to cope with her life with Jerry, and the only reason she isn't much higher up on this list is that we don't actually know if she is the clone or not. Either way, this is certainly a different Beth to anything we've seen in the previous Rick and Morty years.
