10 Best Rick And Morty Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

8. Scary Terry

Rick and Morty Jaguar
Adult Swim

Introduced in just the second ever episode of Rick and Morty, Scary Terry technically isn't a real person. Instead he is but a figment of the imagination of the little girl within the dream of the centaur within the dream of Mrs. Pancakes within the dream of Mr. Goldenfold.

Rick's genius idea to convince Morty's maths teacher to give him better grades started out as a clear rip off of Inception - something that Rick admitted himself one more than one occasion - but, after several levels of dreaming, it became something closer to A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Instead of Freddy Krueger, it is Scary Terry, with miniature swords for fingers instead of knives. The key difference, however, is that Terry is himself haunted in his own dreams, with a strangely normal fear of failing his classes at school. Also, unlike the infamous villain from which he is based, he has a loving scary wife and adorable baby, Scary Brandon.

The hilarious character ultimately ends up helping Rick and Morty incept Mr. Goldenfold and is never seen or heard from again, since the titular duo have never had any other reason to venture into the dreams of the man who so loves Mrs. Pancakes.
