10 Best South Park Characters Only In One Episode

1. Grandma Stotch

South Park's episode Butterballs is a hilarious examination of bullying, and a lot of the humour comes from the appropriation of this seemingly lovely old sweetheart. When Butters' grandmother comes on to the scene, the show tricks you into thinking that she is there to help the loveable blonde-haired goof with his bullying troubles at school, but then you are bait and switched as it turns out she is the real bully.

Seeing Grandma Stotch utterly belittle and physically dominate her grandson shouldn't be funny at all, as the implication is horrendous, but it's difficult not to find the entire situation utterly amusing. The childish antics on display make her incredibly memorable, especially as she is some of the only extended family we see from the Stotches.

Butterballs' climax also presents a very cathartic moment where Butters delivers a harsh yet truthful speech to her as she lies in bed and finally gets the upper hand.

She was only there for one episode, but she surely made one hell of an impact, and thankfully Butters was okay in the end.
