10 Best Thanksgiving TV Episodes

One of the most underrated sitcoms of all time and cancelled way before its time, Happy Endings was a bizarre, rapid pace take on friendship and the show's Thanksgiving special was no different. For starters, Dave sets out on a quest to find 'the food of his people' (clams) and create a real Thanksgiving feast, having recently discovered he is 1/16th Navajo Indian. Naturally, while shopping for ingredients, Dave is robbed by Pilgrims, scammed by the fishmonger, and then arrested.

Meanwhile, back at the apartment, the rest of the gang settle down to watch a tape of Max and Brad on The Real World from 10 years prior, which is how the group all met. The season was ostensibly lost after one of the contestants burned the house down which means the world never saw Max's coming out moment (which, it turns out, was ruined by him having a mouthful of sandwich at the time anyway). With relationship drama aplenty and the kind of ridiculous premise only this show could pull off, this is a holiday special well worth your time.
