10 Best Thanksgiving TV Episodes

1. South Park - Black Friday

Comedy Central

Though South Park has its share of less than stellar seasons, the show has found new life in recent years, and is still capable of producing some of the show's best episodes.

Initially airing in November 2013, Black Friday is a biting commentary on the shopping holiday of the same name, a day that has become more and more significant throughout America and has even managed to bleed into other countries around the world. The episode focuses on the preparations faced throughout South Park for Black Friday, and sees Stan, Kyle and Cartman dressing up in battle gear to better face the onslaught of shoppers.

Merging the medieval aesthetic of the likes of Game Of Thrones with the anarchy caused by Black Friday provides a fantastic commentary on the barbarity of rampant consumerism. It may not be a warm, feel-good family adventure, but it's still a fantastic - one might even say necessary - Thanksgiving episode.
