8. Tomas And Tim - Friends
It takes an awful lot to upstage arguably the most hilarious collection of leading characters ever assembled in sitcom history. However, comedy titans Robin Williams and Billy Crystal were both more than up to the task when the pair decided to drop by Central Perk during Season 3's The One with the Ultimate Fighting Champion.
The story goes that Williams and Crystal weren't originally set to appear in the episode. However, the pair were in the neighbourhood so the writers thought it'd be fun to include the improvisational wizards in the episode's opening. Cue a piece of spur-of-the-moment brilliance that few could've pulled off as majestically.
A completely improvised exchange between two pals by the name of Tomas and Tim sees Williams putting on an outrageous accent and complaining about the fact he thinks his wife is cheating on him with her gynaecologist. Before long, Crystal's Tim reveals that he in fact is the other man, prompting the two to explode and storm out of the coffee shop.
Short, and anything but sweet, it's not hard to see why Monica completely forgot what the hell she was initially talking about as the side-splitting dust settled.
