10 Best TV Characters Who You Never Actually Got To See

If you decided to talk about the running jokes in Friends out loud, your throat would be red raw, and your voice would be crackling by the end. The show was jam-packed with enough in-jokes to fill a whole museum. But, one of the funniest was the recurring presence of Ugly Naked Guy.

This unfortunately named man was a resident adjacent to Monica's apartment. He was a *ahem* less than stellar looking fella who practised nudism and was constantly watched through the window by the lead characters - the '90s was an odd time.

Like most characters on this list, the joke was made funnier by the fact that you could picture him in any way you wanted. Although you never got to see him the same way the Friends did, you still felt like part of the gag, as you had your own idea of him in your head whenever he was mentioned.
