1. Star Wars VII Takes Place 30 Years After ROTJ, Starts Shooting In May
Our final piece of news also comes from the house of mouse, and lo and behold, is an
official Star Wars announcement! Let's let that sink in for a moment, shall we? Okay, now the bad news. This isn't terribly exciting, and is frankly something we kind of knew already. The studio announced this week that Star Wars Episode VII will begin shooting in May, and will take place thirty years after Return Of The Jedi. Yep, that's it. At least we can add this news to the
confirmed pile, and with cameras expected to roll in less than two months, we should be getting more announcements in the very near future. After all, JJ Abrams can't keep
everything secret, can he? Oh no. Don't tempt him. And that concludes this edition of the WhatCulture news brief! Now that we've got a third of the year behind us, with tentpole films gearing up for production, we're having a lot more movie and TV news come our way. Make sure to stay tuned from week to week to keep up on the biggest updates, and
