6. B.D. Wong And Omar Sy Join Jurassic World

The Jurassic Park sequel/relaunch is gearing up for production as it moves ever closer to its June 12th, 2015 release date, under director Colin Trevorrow. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have been cast as the new leads, and this week we learned that two others had been cast. The first new cast member came as a bit of a pleasant surprise. B.D. Wong, who played chief geneticist Dr. Henry Wu in the original 1993 film, will be reprising his role for Jurassic World. Wu wasn't a bit part of the first film but played an integral role in bringing the dinosaurs back from extinction, something Trevorrow is hoping to explore in this fourth installment. The second name to add to the roster is Omar Sy, who confirmed the news via Twitter on Thursday. We don't yet know what kind of role he'll have, but hope that it's not a minor one. He gained a lot of attention in the French film The Intouchables, and will next be seen as the mutan Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
