If you've spent any time at conventions over the years, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Sailor Moon never went away. The Japanese Manga series turned successful cartoon follows the beautiful, dangerous Sailor Soldiers as they do battle, fall in love and save the solar system. What's not to like? Sailor Moon featured some fairly progressive storylines for the 90s, with one of the Soldiers being gender fluid and in a relationship with one of the other Soldiers. A reboot would have the chance to expand on those elements of the story and, given the recent upswing in female superhero narratives, would be sure to find an audience.
