10 Comic Book Villains That Need To Be In Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
8. Constrictor
Who Is He: Frank Payne's story is perfect for adaptation on the small screen. Frank begins his career as a loyal agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. When given the assignment to go under-cover and pose as a snake-based villain that calls himself Constrictor, he suffers a nervous breakdown and becomes the criminal that he is pretending to be. How He Could Fit Into The Show: Coulson could send Payne into HYDRA (he's already sent Mockingbird and Simmons) in a flashback, in order to pose as a villain to gather intelligence. Accidentally creating a new foe from an old friend could put Phil in a moral dilemma when he has to face off against a former ally. In all fairness, he has already had to confront several old allies that became enemies, although never one that he was responsible for creating.
