2. DirecTV Lawsuit

While the show continues to smash records and ratings across the world, AMC remains in a constant battle to keep its shows flowing through all of the major outlets, with a much-publicised battle against DirecTV highlighted at the end of 2014. The agreement between AMC and DirecTV was set to end during The Walking Dead Season 5 mid-season break, and after DirecTV got rid of the network in South America, many began to fear it could've been the end of zombie action coming through their provider. It's not the first time AMC have been involved in a situation like this after the DISH Network dropped the channel, with the show deploying protest zombies in New York City to challenge the decision.
