8. Hades - Black Cat

It’s fitting for a world-class assassin to wield a world-class weapon, and the Hades revolver, used by Train Heartnet, the thirteenth member of the Chronos Numbers fits the bill.

Geared specifically for the work of an assassin, Hades is capable of rapid fire and a quick-eject of empty casings for faster reloading. While its primary function is long-range, the sturdy build and pure Orichalcum metal allows it to be used for physical attacks – so if you don’t get shot, you get clobbered instead.

The design of Hades is equally matched for Train’s personality. Taking on the thirteenth position of the Chronos Numbers (assassins for an Illuminati-like organization), and preceding all his kills with the phrase: “I’ve come to deliver some bad luck”, Train quickly earned the fitting name of “Black Cat” in the underworld.

His weapon is reflective of these traits, designed with a large, black barrel, gold engravings on the grip and bearing the Roman numeral XIII on the side, similar to the one Train has tattooed just below his collarbone.

Living in a place colder than it is north of The Wall, Brad keeps warm with all the excitement that comes from a good anime series, comic book, or movie. Being an opinionated sort of fellow puts him in a precarious position with friends and strangers, but applying that superpower to the world of writing seems to be doing alright for him.
