2. Charles Manson Could Have Easily Been A Musical Superstar

While Charles Manson is nothing short of a monster and not someone who should be lauded in any way, things could have been oh so different for the cult leader.

Manson, a keen guitarist and musician, had become friendly with Beach Boys band member, Dennis Wilson. Indeed, Wilson was so enamoured with Manson and his music that he even moved him and his family out to his Sunset Boulevard house.

Wilson was a massive fan of Manson's musical talents and even pushed big-wigs in the business to give him a chance in the recording studio.

It's pretty disturbing to think that Manson so easily convinced one of the world's biggest musical superstars at the time to not only invite him into his home but almost give him the platform to spread his word further.

It doesn't bear thinking about what might have happened had Manson been given the chance to share his message on a worldwide scale.

Luckily for everyone, music insiders were wary of Manson from the off and soon sent him packing after one too many violent outbursts in their direction.
