7. Beskar Can't Be Used For Weapons, Right? - The Book Of Boba Fett/The Mandalorian

There's a point there during the first season of The Mandalorian when Din Djarin takes his reward for retrieving The Child for The Client - a bunch of beskar - to The Armorer. Here, she proceeds to use it to both make some shiny new armour for the bounty hunter, along with using what remained to forge some Whistling Birds for him.

These were tiny guided missiles used to take out multiple enemies nearby. A weapon, in other words.

Which is what makes The Armorer's words later down the line in The Book of Boba Fett series seem a little odd.

During that spin-off's Mandalorian season 2.5 section, this Children of the Watch member lets Mando know that Mandalorian steel is meant for armour and not weapons, and his beskar spear's very existence was a threat to all Mandalorians.

The spear's head would then be reforged into armour for little Grogu. But despite that being all kinds of adorable, it still didn't really make much sense. If beskar should only ever be used to create armour for the warriors, then why was it fine to use it when crafting things like dangerous Whistling Birds missiles that could just as easily be used against a Mandalorian?

Seems like she's just making it up as she goes along, really.
