4. Joey Wins A Golden Globe
We've seen him as Dr. Drake Ramoray on Days of Our Lives. We've seen him as Mac in the short-lived Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. We've seen him as Al Pacino's butt. And we've seen him as... um... whatever role he played during his spin-off (I don't know, I didn't watch it, and nor did anyone else). But what has Joey Tribbiani been doing since we last saw him? Well, he's taken the exact same path as Matt LeBlanc himself, dabbling with the edgier, supposedly cleverer, more experimental end of the TV spectrum, playing a fictionalised version of himself in a single-camera sitcom. The result? Critical acclaim and recognition in the form of a Golden Globe. Maybe that'll help to ease the pain of missing out on that 'Soapie' award back in 2001.
