10. Cat Dog
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcY_ueiKy5w It's not often that Country songs are described as 'Epic', usually people opt for either the Game of Thrones-esque tune, or something big and loud and shouty. Most of the rest of the list falls into these categories, but I think a theme like Cat Dog is refreshing. It's really quite remarkable how complex a range of emotions can be put across in what is essentially (from an evil faceless producer's point of view) a silly little kids show. Despite being primarily comedic, Cat Dog is subtly touching and heartbreaking in the way that it mentions how alone and different this creature is. Despite perhaps not being the typical definition of epic, I think it definitely deserves a place on this list.
