3. Dragon Flyz (End Theme)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_-wpzTO8Ig I think this one fits the probably forgotten title of this article really well. Can anybody remember this? I've mentioned it to everybody over the years, and it doesn't seem to ring a bell with anybody. A classic cartoon in the way that it seems to have been created with the sole intention of selling some toys, in this case 'Dragon Flyz'. They were essentially 'boy' versions of those spinning, flying fairy things that girls used to play with. Only they were much cooler, because instead of fairies flying off of some conveniently shaped structure, 'Dragon Flyz' were warriors, and instead of conveniently shaped rock, they'd fly off of, yes, Dragons. It's probably cheating a little bit, because this one is specifically the end theme for the show, rather than the opening. But how can I ignore a line like 'Dragon Flyz, Flight is Might', placed so perfectly in the song's almost tragic sounding exposure driven lyrics. As with a few entries on this list, I can't remember one hundred percent what the content of the actual show itself was like, but what I can do is describe what the theme tune implies we are in for. In the case of 'Dragon Flyz' it seems we're in for a legendary, tragic and yes, epic half an hour (or that's what we've just had).
