6. Joey Trips Over While Grabbing The Phone
Season two's "The One with Five Steaks and An Eggplant" memorably ends with Chandler's recent lover Jade (Brittney Powell) leaving a voicemail for "Bob," where she begs him for one more steamy night of sex.
This prompts Joey, who is listening intently to the message, to vault over the sofa and grab for the phone, but hilariously, he ends up spectacularly tripping over instead, catapulting the receiver far from his reach.
Joey's pratfall was actually not in the script at all - he was written to grab the phone and shout "Bob here!" for the episode's closing gag, but Matt LeBlanc's accidental slip evoked such a strong reaction from the live audience that the editorial team decided to keep it in. An undeniably smart call.
