8. Janine Is Sherlock's Girlfriend 'His Last Vow'
When we found out that Sherlock and John hadn't seen each other for a month, it was weird. When John found Sherlock in a drug den and made him go pee in a cup, it was funny and ridiculous. But it all made sense. Married life happened, Sherlock was apparently left out, he'd started using again to distract himself from being bored. Then a woman wearing only Sherlock's shirt walked out of the bedroom. She was a woman who it seemed Sherlock was getting along well with at the wedding, but in a 'might have been way,' not a 'get it on' way! She pointed out where Sherlock was keeping the tea now. She went and joined him in the bathtub. They snuggled, for god's sake. This is Sherlock Holmes. No one's ever been able to figure out if he's even gay or straight. The people closest to him have no idea if he's ever had any relationship ever. And suddenly, there's this sexy woman with an accent and apparent total command of his affections, talking about dinner parties! It was so un-Sherlock that when you found out he was just being a horrible person and manipulating her, you were almost relieved that the character you knew hadn't been totally re-written.
