10 Funniest South Park Characters Ever
9. Gerald Broflovski
Similarly to Lu Kim, Gerald Broflovski wasn't exactly someone you'd consider to be a connoisseur of comedy within the show, as he was predominantly used as something of a straight man in the earlier seasons, giving Kyle and other denizens of South Park a voice of reason for when things casually go wrong. But in the last ten or so seasons, Gerald has seriously stolen the limelight with some of the most memorable comedic moments the series has to offer.
He's a character who imbues a lot of discombobulated mystery. On the surface, he seems like the average family man, a loving, caring father of two who works hard in his daily life. Until you delve into the intricacies of his life and realise he's just as neurotic as the rest of the town.
Fighting eight-year-old boys while high off his face on cat urine to bathe in water with the princess of nippopolis, which is a sentence that may incur some head scratching, isn't even the brunt of this mans hilarious offences. In season 20, he took centre stage as he trolled an entire nation online, causing multiple deaths in the process, but when you stop and actually observe the character in the earlier seasons, you'll notice he was always lurking in the background, just waiting to become the comedic powerhouse he now is.
