10 Game Of Thrones Characters Who Really Deserve To Die
6. Ser Alliser Thorne
Another miserable SOB right from his very first scene. Thorne was in charge of whipping the new Night's Watch recruits into shape, and seemed to take just a bit too much pleasure in his job. When Jon and Sam arrived he took it upon himself to make their lives as difficult as possible, because.... they weren't complete scumbags?
During the Wildling siege of Castle Black, Thorne seemed to show begrudging respect to Jon, and proved himself a brave warrior - but any points he may have earned were cancelled out by his association with slimy baby-killer Janos Slynt (who's now minus a head so won't make this list) and the events of the season 5 finale have well and truly marked Set Alliser for some bloody retribution.
After allowing Jon and his Wildling refugees through the gates of the Wall, Thorne and his cronies lure young Snow to a secluded area and proceed to knife him to death "for the Watch".
Thorne may have believed he was doing what was best for his brothers, but the betrayal and murder of his Lord Commander is inexcusable. Let's hope it's a resurrected Snow who swings the sword.
