10 Game Of Thrones Heroes You Didn't Realise Were Villains

2. Arya Stark

Is Arya still the victim or has she developed into something far more sinister? If the events of season four opener 'Two Swords' are anything to go by, then she has become very comfortable with the act of killing. Like Robb she has become consumed by revenge and her unholy alliance with Sandor Clegane suggests her path will only get darker. The truth is, not all of Arya's victims were evil. The poor stable boy she stabbed to death way back in season just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Arya never really acknowledged guilt over her actions at Kings Landing; her thirst for vengeance quickly consumed her when she came face to face with the horrors of war in the Riverlands and Harrenhal. How good can you be when you ally yourself with killers? First Jaqen H'ghar and now The Hound. Arya may still be one of the 'good guys', as much as anyone is good any more. But she's also a cold blooded killer; developing a taste for blood at such a young age, what sort of woman will she grow into when this is all over? The prospect is quite terrifying.
