10 Genius Ways To Link All The DC Universe Shows

8. Start Developing The Map

The shows have to start feeling naturally part of the same world, and crucially there need to be references to the other cities - not just Starling, Gotham, (presumably) Central City, and wherever Constantine will be hanging his hat. Cities like Metropolis, Coast City, and even real world cities need to have well placed mentions in the series; creating the sense of a larger world, will make the crossover seem organic and natural rather than an overt money-grab. This will also help in creating a sense of fullness to the cinematic universe, should the two be integrated. If any links or crossovers are going to be made, viewers can't be made to feel as if their world is suddenly expanding, the larger world should always be there and additionally our heroes need to have a good reason to leave their usual boundaries to search for help, so these cities should have their own character and specializations.
