3. Season 4, Episode 17 (Cast of Star Wars)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXRrZWsPV8s "Stop it, R2, you're not a song and dance droid..."-C3PO In the beginning of this episode, it looks like the Muppet Show is about to get their biggest, greatest guest star ever--one Angus McGonagle, the Gershwin-gargling argyle gargoyle. Luckily (or, unluckily, as a shafted McGonagle sticks around the stage for the rest of the show), some much more familiar faces crash come crashing through the theatre wall--R2D2, C3P0, and Luke Skywalker (they are later joined by Chewbacca and Skywalker's "cousin", Mark Hamill). In an attempt to rescue Chewbacca from Dearth Nadir and an angry Angus McGonagle, the Star Wars cast takes over the Swinetrek, and eventually befriends the stars of Pigs in Space. Hamill does some lackluster impressions of Kermit and Fozzie, the two of whom have no idea who he's trying to impersonate. There are sheep all over the place, who have escaped from an earlier shepherd doo-wop act. It is generally a very busy episode. In the end, Chewbacca is rescued and, in true Muppet fashion, everyone breaks out into song. The choice of tune, "When You Wish Upon a Star", performed in front of Cinderella's castle, foreshadows the Walt Disney Company's acquisition of both Star Wars and the Muppets in years to come (there are even fireworks behind them).
