10 Greatest Saturday Night Live Guest Hosts

1. Alec Baldwin

Sometimes it's easy to forget that Baldwin was never actually a cast member of Saturday Night Live. He was on the show all time time, has a fantastically sardonic sense of humor, and has close ties to both the 30 Rock atmosphere and many of the former cast members. But Baldwin was only ever a host, despite the fact that many of his sketches have gone on to become all-time classics. Even in short guest appearances, he was more than willing to push the envelope in terms of good taste, as seen in his infamous Canteen Boy sketch where he attempts to seduce Adam Sandler's Boy Scout, complete with Baldwin's famously hairy chest and pedophiliac undertones. Hey, they got away with that sort of thing in the 70s with Buck Henry's Uncle Roy skits, didn't they? To this day, he's hosted Saturday Night Live more than anyone else - a record sixteen times. Clearly a nice set of Schweddy Balls is the key to success in late night sketch comedy. Like this article? Let us know in the comments section below.
