For those reading who might be unfamiliar with this performer, James Fullington - better known as The Sandman - was (and still is) a wrestler, best known for his stint in the Philadelphia based promotion ECW.

This company was incredibly popular during the 90s, and The Sandman played a big part in that, so he certainly has some street cred in Philly. That's not even to mention the fact that he was also born there.

Always Sunny and wrestling have had plenty of success crossing over before, most notably through Da' Maniac, a kooky and unpredictable wrestler played by the legendary Roddy Piper before his death in 2015. Although the loss of Piper meant the end of this character, it doesn't mean the gang's connection to wrestling has to end as well.

Introducing a character who is a long lost brother or old friend of Da' Maniac would be genius, as Fullington is notorious for his dangerous hardcore wrestling, unapologetic beer drinking and aggressive lifestyle.

He's basically Da' Maniac in real life, so while his acting hasn't been tested, he'd still fit the show like a glove.
