10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Batman You Won't Believe Exist

3. Stan Lee's Batman

rsz_11jislbatman-00fc We all know Stan Lee is the face of Marvel. He is in all the movies and he goes to lots of panels. The idea of Stan Lee ever working for DC is sacrilege. Well, apart from that one time he did. Lee worked for DC and reinvented all their characters in new imaginings. Making alternate versions of Batman, Superman, Green Lanterm, The Flash and many others. All of them are pretty nutty. Not least of all his take on Batman. An afro-american man, Wayne Williams has a personal fortune and is in peak physical condition. However, he gets set up by a a gang leader called Handz and is incarcerated in prison. While there he spends some time with scientist Frederick Grant who helps to train his mind. Williams gets out of Prison after saving the Warden and tries to find Handz, who he suspects killed his mother. However, to make ends meet, Wayne Williamz takes up wrestling as the Batman and becomes a superstar before actually confronting the gang leader. I think I will keep Batman's true origin story thanks, Stan.
