8. Clay Quartermain
Clay Quartermain is a high-ranking agent of S.H.I.E.L.D (high enough to have his own Life Model Decoy), being a level 8 agent, supervisor for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Paranormal Containment Unit known as Nick Fury's Howling Commandos and a former liaison officer for the "Hulkbusters" (the Hulk-hunting operations of the U.S. Armed Forces). As a result, he could take up a number of roles in the television show. He could be a straightforward S.H.I.E.L.D agent who takes part in generic missions. If S.H.I.E.L.D were to go after a rogue Hulk again, he could lead them. Or if paranormal activity is introduced to the MCU, he could investigate it. He is highly trained in espionage, the use of firearms and in hand-to-hand combat and is a fast-talking, constantly smiling blonde man who thinks quite highly of himself. An interesting character all round.
