5. Kate Neville
Kate Neville majored in efficient killing at S.H.I.E.L.D Academy (how cool is that? Reason enough to adapt her on the small screen, surely?). An excellent hand-to-hand combatant, a superb marksman with firearms and a highly skilled assassin who is adept with many killing techniques, Kate held the S.H.I.E.L.D title of Chief of Ordnance (again, very cool). Interestingly, she has been a love interest of S.H.I.E.L.D Director and existing MCU character Nick Fury, which would add a bit of spice to proceedings. In the comics, she was killed by Baron Strucker, who would be a very cool ongoing villain to utilise in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D television series (given that he is a leader in the HYDRA organisation which already exists in the MCU, that wouldn't be too difficult to conceive). Her death would allow us to see a vulnerable side to Nick Fury, who would have to cameo in the series if she was to appear, which would be great.
