10 MCU Characters Who Should Return In TV Show Supporting Roles

With the announcement of Armor Wars many fans became excited at the possibility of Justin Hammer making a grand return. While Iron Man 2 is definitely one of the weaker MCU films, Sam Rockwell gave a brilliant performance and really made Justin Hammer a character you love to hate. We last saw him in a one-shot in prison, which seems a wasteful ending for such a fantastic actor.

With Tony Stark gone and with his suit technology seemingly being used by some unsavoury individuals, War Machine has to help control the fallout. It makes a lot of sense for Hammer to return with this premise. Not only has he already tried his hand at stealing Tony's technology, but he was introduced in the same film that Rhodey finally became War Machine.

Honestly this seems one of the most likely to actually happen on this list. The biggest obstacle to overcome may just be getting Sam Rockwell to return to the character, but if he was willing to cameo in a one-shot, I'm sure that he and Marvel can come to some arrangement for his return.
