10 Memorable Game Show Moments

9. Family Fortunes- A Type of Bean

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2pdM2DLyA8 In a 2007 all-star episode of Family Fortunes, Irish TV personality Brian Dowling's Big Money segment got off to a rocky start. 93 points away from a big win, Dowling named tennis as a sport where something is thrown. Noticeably flustered by this response, he blurts out ("with glee", as the host says), that one goes to the salon for a "brazillian wax". It turns out to be the top answer, but Dowling knows that he's not about to get any points with his next response. When it turns out that €œbaked bean€ had already been said, he didn€™t go for €œkidney€ or €œlima€. €œLesbian€. When they scored his answers, he wanted it skipped entirely. The audience got a laugh all over again when it was written up on the board as €œLes Bean€. The rest is game show history, immortalized on Dowling€™s Wikipedia page and funny TV moment countdowns everywhere.
