4. Joel McHale Got Dan Harmon His Job Back

When Dan Harmon was fired at the end of the third season, allegedly for his management skills, fans feared it might be the end of their favourite show. Some would argue that the show should have ended, given the poor reception of the fourth series, which was clearly lacking Harmon's flair.
