10 Mindblowing Ways That Arrow Could Go Out With A Bang
9. Eight Seasons And A Movie
In last night's emotional Facebook Live video posting, Amell hinted that Arrow's final season might not be the last we see of him in the role.
That tends to suggest that he knows approximately how things are going to end with Oliver Queen, and the oddly specific 10 episodes The CW have allowed for that final season also indicates that the show's producers have already planned their exit strategy. As mentioned, Amell told them of his intention to leave towards the end of season 6, so they've had a long time now to lay the groundwork.
But what if Warner decided to add to their increasingly standalone DC cinematic output by greenlighting a Green Arrow movie? And what if they wanted to cast the guy who helped make a show about an effete Robin Hood knock off so compelling that it inspired the creation of a whole television universe?
Worries about typecasting aside, movies are shot over a different timescale to television's long haul schedule, for more money and with a greater profile and distribution. Amell would be more likely than not to sign up - which, in turn, could leave season 8 far more open-ended than currently expected.
