1. Glenn And Abraham's Deaths
This scene caused the show to completely reevaluate its approach to the levels of gore on display. Some of the actors said the scene went too far, and many fans of the series completely stopped watching after the debut episode of Season 7.
Our favourite survivors have been captured and the grand entrance of Negan finally takes place. They are all stripped of their weapons, forced to their knees and lined up, ready for punishment for attempting to fight back against the Saviors.
Negan entertains a twisted game of 'eeny-meeny-miny-moe' to see who is going to have their head caved in by Lucille (Negan's baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire). Abraham is the unfortunate selection.
An excessive number of brutal swings turn Abraham's red head into red mush, and after Daryl lashes out at Negan, Glenn is chosen for a second execution.
Negan delivers two swift blows to Glenn's skull, fracturing it with ease and causing one of his eyes to pop out of his head. Negan does not relent until there is nothing left of Glenn's head, his body still twitching in a gruesome close-up shot.
Although it was the death Glenn was always meant to have, AMC probably should have considered toning it down a bit for the audience.
