10 Most Emotional Brooklyn Nine-Nine Moments

If you were to ask any avid TV fan what the best bromance on the small screen was, then there's no doubt they'd name Jake Peralta and Charles Boyle. They're complete opposites on paper as one is a goofy, giant kid, and the other is a strange and eccentric grown-up. Still, their friendship is a highlight of the show, and this moment made it all too real.

During "The Last Ride", Jake and Boyle work to bust a huge case to save the Nine-Nine before its closure. However, by the end of their work, they realise it's too late, and they won't be able to keep the precinct open.

They start to talk about the new friends they'll make when they're separated and how much they'll miss each other (without being too obvious). Then, Boyle starts using his binoculars to hide his tears, which Jake soon starts to do as well.

The idea of these two being torn apart is heartbreaking, and the moment they share - albeit while poorly hiding their emotions - is a sign of how much they mean to each other.
