1. That Pennsatucky Scene (Orange Is The New Black)
Orange Is The New Black has a lot of characters, but one of the (many) great things about the show is that it takes the time to flesh all of them out and make us care about them. None are inherently good or bad, but all have different things to have happened in the past that makes you understand and sympathise with their position. One of the best examples of this is Pennsatucky, who was previously seen as a villain and a religious zealot, but is now one of the best developed characters on the series, and one of the most tragic. In Season 3, as well as forming a great friendship with Big Boo, she also becomes friends with Officer Coates: eating doughnuts, feeding ducks, and coming to terms with life at Litchfield. And then, when you think the two have a rather sweet relationship, he rapes her in the back of his van. As this happens, the camera zooms in on Pennsatucky's face, showing a single tear. It was brutal, it was tragic, and it was one of the toughest and the most emotional TV moment of 2015. What TV moment from 2015 had you shedding a tear or two (or several)?
