10 Most Hated BoJack Horseman Characters
5. Hank Hippopopalous
Everybody loves Uncle Hanky. He was an incredibly popular TV personality who was able to stay relevant for decades thanks to his charm and big personality. However, in something of a commentary on a certain type of character in Hollywood, Hank was not what he seemed on the outside.
Eight of his former assistants had all accused Hank of the same thing in the past, though he was never called out on it. He was kept protected because of his star power, and while it was never fully specified exactly what he had been accused of, it was strongly hinted that it was sexual assault.
Hank had the connections he needed, and the ability to make money for a lot of people with his face on the TV that he could basically get away with anything. Even when Diane tried to run an expose through Manatee Fair, she was shut down because the magazine’s owners also profited off Hank’s show, ‘Hey, I Think You Can Dance.’
The TV personality ruined the lives of eight women, he threated Diane to leave him alone, and he had absolutely no comeuppance. When he was finally “confronted” about the accusations on TV, he simply said he didn’t do it, and that was enough for the media to bury the entire thing.
