10 New TV Shows You Should Be Watching In 2016

3. The Night Manager

Network: AMC (US), BBC One (UK) Premiere Date: April 2016 Talk about international cooperation. The Night Manager is a miniseries based on the novel by John le Carre, and has been co-produced by AMC, BBC One, and The Ink Factory, airing in the US, Canada, and the UK in April 2016. With a cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Coleman, and Tom Hollander, it seems unlikely that the acting is going to let us down. In fact, this is probably the closest thing to a lock when it comes to awards season. With an engaging storyline of espionage and the secret arms industry, The Night Manager looks to combine high quality performances and high octane excitement. It revolves around a former British soldier who is recruited to secretly infiltrate the inner circle of an arms dealer. To do so, he must become a criminal. But we are who we pretend to be, so we must be careful who we pretend to be. Or something like that. Also, did I mention that it will have Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie in it? Facing off against each other? So it's, like, imperative that you watch this.
