10 Pieces Of Doctor Who Merchandise You Won't Believe Exist

1. Official Doctor Who Scants

You would have thought that most of the ridiculous Doctor Who merchandise on this list would have come from generations of Who past but only these delightful underpants from the previous incarnations of Doctor Who have made it onto the list. What does that tell us? Modern consumers will buy any old rubbish. In 1980 British Homes Stores, or BHS as it's more commonly known, started selling these fetching underoos featuring the glorious visage of the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, for 85 pence (about £4 in today's money). BHS sold around 46,000 pairs. Branded clothing is much more commonplace today and you can pick up Doctor Who branded everything, from hoodies to thongs but these stunners were where it all began. That must mean they're really to blame.
