5. Will Schuester, "Glee"
The "Glee" pilot showed promise for supposed main character Will Schuester. He was a high school Spanish teacher determined to form a glee club to give the misfits of McKinley a chance to shine. If he had simply been the glee club director and nothing more, that would've been great. Unfortunately the show took a dive into his personal life and I soon realized Will Schuester was the exact opposite of "Glee." He's extremely dull and whiny, with the personality of a fish caught on a hook. He has poor taste in music and an average singing voice. The show kept trying to explore his personal issues but I found it very difficult to care. His presence on recent seasons has been cut back, but I wish he would be cut out all together. The focus should have been kept on the talent of the students instead of being wasted on boring faculty that add nothing to show. Sue Sylvester once told Will: "You'll be adding revenge to the long list of things you're no good at -- right next to being married, running a high school glee club and finding a hairstyle that doesn't make you look like a lesbian." Truer words on "Glee" have never been spoken.
