The hype machine for Marvel's The Punisher has been working overtime in recent weeks, with a slew of images, teasers, and a trailer, but there's still quite a lot we don't know about the show.

Getting back to the more grounded stylings of the earlier Netflix Marvel Universe elements, without a member of the Hand in sight, the series follows Frank Castle after his taking revenge for the murder of his family, and sees him uncover a much bigger conspiracy.

The trailers have put a heavy focus on his time in the army, and we're likely to see Billy Russo transform into Jigsaw too, but what exactly is this conspiracy, and how's it connected to Frank?

Also, just when the f**k is this being released?!
