10 Reasons Why Constantine Must Not Get Cancelled

1. The Potential For Growth

Constantine Potential Gif Constantine could become massive - like, really massive. Given time and the right direction, it could rival The Walking Dead in terms of popularity. Think of the amount of source material available, the current trend for comic-based shows with fantasy themes, not to mention the merchandising options that could become available - imagine a plush toy version of John with a cigarette hanging from its mouth! That would be both cute and set a bad example. Not every new series is a massive success in its first season. Even the mighty Breaking Bad didn€™t go stratospheric until season two. What is important is that NBC gives Constantine a bit more time to live up to the massive potential it has, and doesn't allow it to join the ranks of those other fantasy-based shows that were criminally cancelled after one year: Firefly, Alien Nation and Brimstone being prime examples. Constantine deserves better than that. Don't make a huge mistake NBC, commission Constantine for a second season - at the very least - and watch it soar like an aloof angel. Do you think Constantine deserves another season?
