2. It's Ramping Up To A Killer Finale

As if the last point wasn't enough to convince you that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has a ton of excitement all stored up for us, the story's getting so focused and intense now that a satisfying climax is almost inevitable. With Skye's murky origins and superhero potential still not revealed yet (but still being heavily hinted at every episode) and the show's fondness for focusing on her for moments of great discovery and emotion, there's bound to be more shocking moments for her character to come. The same can be said of Melinda May, who was just recently revealed to be spying on her teammates for as-yet-unnamed S.H.I.E.L.D. authorities who'd rather Coulson didn't find out the true extent of what happened to him in 'Tahiti'. That's bound to get out sooner or later, and it'll surely change the entire dynamic of the cast. Then there's Coulson himself, who's already wading into deep waters against both the Clairvoyant and S.H.I.E.L.D. itself, and it would be a huge surprise if he got out of the season unscathed. But there's one element of Season 1's ending that hasn't really been touched on yet, despite it being probably the most exciting thing about the show for nerds and fans of ludicrous plot twists and cruel character development alike.
