A lot of theme songs and openers can be considered iconic but the Batman Beyond intro is one of the, if not the, greatest thing about this animated series. It completely sets the tone in more ways than one for the next futuristic chapter in the Batman saga and helped set it apart from all other iterations.

Throughout the beginning of each episode, viewers were thrown some powerful images and symbolism about the dark technology-dependent world they were about to enter. This is all set to some cyberpunk rock music that would have been everyone's ringtone had cell phones been all the rage when it aired.

A series of words flash across the screen in the midst of all the glimpses of the Neo-Gotham’s nightlife and bats flying from the bat cave. "Corruption," "Greed," and "Apathy" all begin to spell out what’s really going on behind the scenes culminating with the word "Hope."

It also introduces the brand new Batman complete with a quick sizzle reel of all his new tech making sure audiences knew this wasn't their grandpa’s Batman. This glorious introduction before every episode was undoubtedly one of the best parts of the entire Batman Beyond experience.
