10 Reasons Why The Office Season 9 Should Be The Show's Last

1. Poor Use of Characters

While some characters in the show have had their traits and personality's maximised to the point of irritation, others have been watered down and almost forgotten about. Stanley and Phyllis, who have always been hilarious and were previously used just enough, have been almost ignored in recent seasons. Meanwhile, characters such as Ryan and Creed have taken bigger parts, yet been changed completely. While Ryan was once a sarcastic, downbeat temp, he's now some sort of hipster. It's a total u-turn for his character and its difficult to like him. Creed, who had previously been restricted to one scene an episode, where he would rattle off an absolutely hilarious non-sequitar, is now appearing far more often, and his senility has been stretched into the point where it's just TOO obvious. Kevin Malone has been subject to the same thing. He was always low in intelligence, but his lack of brainpower has now been exaggerated to the point where its just unrealistic.
