The first seasons were actually great, featuring real human beings transitioning into their new way of life, where being strong and surviving meant staying alive, and being weak and scared meant certain death. Carol grew stronger, Glenn became a man, Rick turned into a good leader, and Carl grew pair. But recently I would be happy if even one character did something new.

We all know what everyone is going to do. Carol is going to run away and Morgan is going to run after her with his stick and not kill anybody. Rick is going to cry and Glenn is going to say Maggie’s name 1,000,000 more times (sorry Glenn, didn’t enjoy your death.)

Characters we know keep dying and few interesting ones are taking their place. The ones still alive aren’t really saying anything new.

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
