10 Recent TV Show Mistakes You Won't Believe

It often feels like a brand new, can't-miss TV show is dropping on one of the world's many massive streaming services each and every day at this point.

And while being delivered so much new small-screen content by the week definitely ensures there's now always something to watch for just about every soul flicking on their televisions around the world, it also means that the chances of an easily missed mistake suddenly popping up on that same screen is more likely than ever before.

Even some of the biggest projects currently being pumped onto the likes of Netflix, Disney+, Peacock, and Amazon Prime have still been unable to make it out into the world without a few unintentional and sometimes unbelievable errors present.

Do the following blunders and mistakes completely spoil everything from big-budget HBO entries to animated chapters in the galaxy far, far away? Not a chance.

But you'll still find yourself wondering how the various talented folks who helped create these recent action, sci-fi, and dramatic TV shows managed to completely overlook boy band errors, lightsaber inconsistencies, and some rather baffling props...

With Netflix's The Crown focusing on the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and her family, folks have understandably been quick to point out certain historical inaccuracies that have shown up in the five-season run so far.

Now sure, show creator Peter Morgan and its historical consultant Robert Lacey have openly noted how this series isn't a "historical documentary" (via Town and Country), with certain moments requiring the former to use his imagination to "join the dots" (via THR).

But there are certain elements that certainly are required to be accurate when diving into the royal story. Stuff like the spelling of certain real-life places the monarch visited during the early '90s.

During the first episode of the most recent season of The Crown, Lancashire fans of the show were excited to see none other than the little town of Morecambe make an appearance early on.

That excitement was soon replaced with bemusement, though, as it quickly became clear that someone seemingly hadn't done their research before slapping the name of the place on the side of a truck.

Here, the seaside town was hilariously misspelt as "Morecombe", with folks online being quick to mercilessly poke fun at such an easily fixed error once Imelda Staunton's Elizabeth II showed up at Lancashire's Warton Dairies factory to deliver a speech (via Lancashire Telegraph).
