10 Scariest Twilight Zone Episodes Ever

Join us as we travel into another dimension...

With Halloween fast approaching, it€™s time to revisit the scariest films and television to get you in the mood for the macabre. Other articles on this site might tell you the best horror films to watch this October but before you start that Michael Myers marathon (not Mike Myers, though his films can be unintentionally frightening) stick around to hear about the king of scary TV. That is, of course, the seminal sci-fi/horror anthology series, The Twilight Zone.

Starting in 1959 (that's just fourteen years after World War Two ended!) it may be nearly fifty years since the original series was last broadcast (although it has been revived to mixed success several times since) but the series was so smartly-done and forward-thinking that many of the episodes still stand strong today. Shot in eerie black and white and iconically narrated by Rod Serling, the show lives on in people€™s minds (and nightmares) for its ingenious twists, its tense thrills and, yes, its memorable scares.

So join us now as we travel into another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. It's a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.

That's the 'Next' button up ahead. You're next stop...

The Twilight Zone.
