7. The 100
The 100 has been one of the most underappreciated science fiction shows on TV since its debut back in 2014, and unfortunately that hasn't changed in the time that it's been entertaining fans. That said, that provides plenty of new fans with the opportunity to figure out how good it is firsthand.
A show that once centered on 100 youthful prisoners sent to earth to test the environment almost a century after a nuclear apocalypse, it has grown into a tale of survival, leadership and destiny over the past half-decade.
If you've been watching it, you'll know that the final season is airing on The CW at the moment, but if you haven't, the summer is the perfect chance to binge the whole show (or just the the final season) so that you can see how Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia and the rest of the grounders' journey all ends.
